Monday, 25 August, marked the start of the 2025 | 2026 school year at accadis International School Bad Homburg. With excitement and joy, the school community celebrated three First Day of School ceremonies – and for the first time surpassed the milestone of over 800 students on campus.
Three First Day of School Ceremonies in One Day
A total of 102 children embarked on their educational journey in Primary and Grade 1. During three joyful ceremonies, the school’s management and teaching staff warmly welcomed the new students and their families. A special highlight was the traditional handover of school cones, which sweeten the start of school life and symbolizes the transition from kindergarten to primary school. Meeting their new teachers and visiting their classrooms for the very first time were also part of the day.
On Monday, 25 August 2025, the new school year began for all other accadis ISB students and we were delighted to welcome 35 new Grade 5 students. In addition, another 25 students joined across other Grade levels.

Milestones for the Future
Looking ahead, the development of our school continues to be shaped by expansion and improvement:
- New Sports Hall: Scheduled for completion in early 2026, the new accadis sports hall will represent an important step in expanding our infrastructure and promoting holistic education.
- Modern Learning Spaces: The ongoing expansion of our ONEaccadis building is progressing as planned, creating additional state-of-the-art learning environments.
- Two-Track System through Grade 8: In Secondary School, the successful establishment of a two-track system through Grade 8 demonstrates the steady and healthy growth of our school community.
- After School Activities: With the further development of our After School Activities, we are providing new opportunities that enrich school life for both students and families.
- Innovation with AI: By integrating Artificial Intelligence into our school development, we remain “one step ahead” – always striving to provide our students with the best possible preparation for the future.
